Q. Is the staff at Wordszilla™ qualified for my project?
A. Yes. The owner and lead ghostwriter, Luis Bonilla, has a bachelor of arts degree in English and over seven years of professional work experience in editing and writing website text, manuscripts, ebooks, and other related materials. All writers and editors of Wordszilla are also held to similar scholastic and professional prerequisites, ensuring that we provide a quality product and not just “text” to fulfill a word count. But don’t just take our word for it, read the testimonials from a few of our clients!
Q. Why do I need my text edited?
A. You don’t want to convey to your reader carelessness or give them an unprofessional impression. Sometimes, all it takes is one unclear sentence to give the reader an excuse to move on to another website, manuscript, or college acceptance letter. Having Wordszilla edit your text is one of the best ways to ensure that your message will be clear and powerful.
Q. How will I see my changes for my editing service or writing service?
A. We utilize Microsoft Word for all editing and writing projects. Upon request, we can save documents as a text file (.txt) or any similar file.
Q. How do I send in text for the editing service or writing service?
A. For website text, simply email us your website’s address and we’ll do the rest. For all other text documents, please save the file as a “.doc” or “.docx” and upload it using our contact form.
Q. How do I pay for my editing service or writing service?
A. When you email us your document, we will verify your page count and the service requested. Wordszilla will then email you an invoice through safe and secure PayPal. You can then make your payment through PayPal.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you may use a major credit card (i.e., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) using the same PayPal invoice method. After we receive your payment, we begin to work on your project.
We will do our best to reply to you with a confirmation email and invoice on the same business day, ensuring that you will obtain the delivery schedule of your choice.
Q. When can I expect my editing service or writing service to be finished?
A. The arrival of your text depends on what delivery time frame you have selected and purchased. We consider 8:00am Pacific Time (PT) to be the beginning of the business day and 5:00pm (PT) the end.
Examples of arrival times:
1. A 24-hour edit purchased at 2:00pm (PT) on Monday will arrive to you by 5:00pm (PT) on Tuesday.
2. A 24-hour edit purchased after 5:00pm (PT) on Monday will arrive to you by 5:00pm (PT) on Wednesday.
3. A 3-day writing service purchased at 2:00pm (PT) on Monday will arrive to you by 5:00pm (PT) on Thursday.
4. A 3-day writing service purchased after 5:00pm (PT) on Monday will arrive to you by 5:00pm (PT) on Friday.
Also, we do not operate on weekends (yes, we writers attempt to have a social life). Any 24-hour service purchased on a Friday before 5:00pm (PT) will arrive on that following Monday by 5:00pm (PT); anything purchased after 5:00pm (PT) on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday. Likewise, any request for services on Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the following Monday. Please plan accordingly.
If your project time frame includes a major holiday, we will let you know how that could affect your delivery time before you make a purchase.
Q. Do you offer any type of guarantee for your editing service or writing service?
A. Yes, although we cannot guarantee that your text will bring in business, be fully accepted by the public, or sell the most books. We will assure you that it will be checked for grammatical errors, easy to read, and original. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of work for the copy editing service, please email Wordszilla and let us know the exact reason why. We will then attempt to correct the issue. If you are still not satisfied, after we attempt to amend the problem, we will issue a refund for the copy editing services performed.
Additionally, for copy editing purposes, Wordszilla cannot guarantee that your text, content, or ideas themselves are or will be deemed worthy for publishing, sale, or any other purpose. Our edits will only ensure that your message, whatever it may be, is clear and grammatically correct—not necessarily marketable.
For example, you may manufacture shoes made from recycled burlap. We would make sure your message is understandable to your prospective buyers, but that doesn’t guarantee that buyers would want to purchase the shoes.
Q. Do you have a refund policy?
A. Yes. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of work with our copy editing services, and you provide legitimate feedback of why, we will refund your money. For our writing services, there is no refund (1) after the payment is received, (2) we have performed the work, and (3) you have received what you have paid for. However, we do provide a free revision on all of our services to help ensure your satisfaction.
Q. May I see a sample of your editing service or writing service?
A. As to protect the integrity of our customers’ privacy, we will never send, share, or provide in any way text to another individual, company, or third-party.
For larger editing or writing projects that are not manuscripts, we suggest that you initially purchase a page or two from your project as a sample before purchasing an entire project. Doing this will allow you to determine whether our quality is correct for your project. You may also read a few testimonials from some of our clients and remember that we do provide a free revision with the purchase of any service.
Q. What does your one-week (or more) service time frame mean?
A. It means that the minimum amount of time it will take to complete that particular project will be one week; it could take longer, depending on the text’s length. For example, a 125-page manuscript might take a full week to edit, while a 300-page manuscript could take a little over two weeks.
Time frames for large projects will be determined on a case by case basis. Before you purchase, you will know the exact day your project will be completed.
Q. What types of topics will you edit and write?
A. Wordszilla will edit and write almost any subject except topics related to pornography, racism, sexism, illegal actions, terrorism, abuse, corruptive practices, or anything we deem as offensive and/or objectionable.
We will not work on any text that is found to be plagiarized nor write any scholastic content. Wordszilla reserves the right to reject work on any project at any time.
Q. Do you only accept a certain level of writing?
A. If the text isn’t deemed as offensive, objectionable, or plagiarized, we will accept the text. It does not matter if English is your second language or other editing companies consider your writing to be in need of a “high” or “special” edit. If you need it edited or written, and it meets our requirements of non-offensive taste, we will accept your project.
Q. I want the writing service for my manuscript to be confidential. Is this possible?
A. Yes. We do not share any of our customers’ work with any individual or third-party. Your manuscript, its ideas, and all other documents will be held confidential. Wordszilla has no intention of saving, disseminating, or otherwise distributing your text for any purpose. Remember, a ghostwriter is a writer who will not reveal their involvement in your writing project! Our ghostwriting services generally involve a lot of collaboration between the client (i.e., books, novels, etc.). All writing projects will remain confidential.
Q. Why are some of your prices really low?
A. We don’t think that people should have to pay abnormally high prices for a first-rate editing or writing service. Wordszilla™ will not charge you an arm and a leg (because that would be gross) for superb work.
